If Aretha Franklin and Steven Tyler had a fling at the Electric Daisy Carnival, Emiko Sylver would be their love child.
Singer, songwriter Emiko Sylver is unapologetically a musical gypsy, absorbing from every artist, every genre, every song she encounters, then making it her own. With influences like Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Chaka Khan, Nirvana, Guns ‘N’ Roses, Brandy, Bjork, Aretha Franklin, P-Funk and Michael Jackson it’s no wonder her music appeals to the masses. And it’s not just her taste in music that runs the gauntlet. From her sense of style, interests, and hobbies, she is absolutely a girl of the new age renaissance.

An alumni of both her hometown college, Arizona State University, and the esteemed, Berklee College of Music, Emiko is just as intellectual as she is intrinsic. But you’d never know from her energetic, yet demure personality that she possessed such a powerfully nuanced instrument that could boom with intensity and conviction then revert to a dancing melodic whisper in the same phrase.
From performing with Grammy and Oscar award winning acts like CeeLo Green, Tata Vega and KC & The Sunshine Band, to commanding crowds of thousands herself, Emiko has shared her voice around the world. Currently writing and recording, Emiko Sylver plans to share her velvet-y tone with its many luscious textures and sultry colors, organic expressions and rhythmic sensitivity in her debut EP this summer.
